As you're probably aware there was a little wedding going on on Friday and to celebrate this Royal occasion, me and my friends found ourselves making a mini residence in a campsite near Corfe for 3 nights.
On Friday a few other friends came down for the day and we went to watch the wedding in a little pub in Swanage. We had a lovely time watching it on the big television while drinking tea, even the Kate and Wills masks came out for a bit..
The rest of the weekend was made up mostly from a collection of frisbee, volleyball - thank you to the people who ended up with me on your team...you were very forgiving, a bbq, drinking cider, playing categories, Hearts, chatting, sleeping, Corfe for cream tea, relaxing and believe it or not, for most of the days we had sunshine.
Although my arm is now aching quite a lot from the frisbee throwing and volleyball tuition my friends kindly tried to give me, all in all I had a pretty amazing weekend. We even had a lovely sunday lunch at our friend Matt's house...finally proper food, and it was SO good.
Sadly for me my bank holiday weekend has ended as I'm back to work tomorrow, but one thing's for sure that I definitely would have liked this weekend to carry on for a bit longer. You cannot beat 3 lovely days filled with good company in a beautiful part of the world.
Royal Wedding camping weekend? Success.
